Thermal Imaging
I use a state-of-the-art infrared camera to find problems that aren’t always apparent to the naked eye during a routine Home Inspection. By evaluating the images, I can detect sources of energy loss, locate areas of moisture intrusion, pinpoint dangerous hots pots in the electrical system, and uncover other problems, such as wood-destroying pest and rodent infestations, and flue leaks in the chimney.
Given the high value this provides to our customer, we provide Infrared Imaging and Foundation Measurement at no additional cost when completing a Home Inspection!
Foundation/Sub-floor Measurement
Utilizing a Zip Level® , we can go beyond just looking at cracks in the bricks on the outside of the house. This tool allows me to measure the foundation itself and detect height differences as small as the thickness of a sheet of paper! Your home may have repaired damage caused by a shifting foundation, and the visible signs may now be hidden.
Given the shifty nature of our soil in northern Texas, there is a higher possibility of foundation movement. I offer this service at no additional cost to ensure you have the highest quality information available!
Summary of Deficiencies
There are plenty of inspectors that tout the bargaining power of presenting a 100 page inspection report to the seller. However, with a report that huge a lot can get lost in translation!
